Masonry Heater Core Kits

At the heart of a masonry heater is the heater core. The most basic elements of the core are the firebox and the combustion flue gas channels. Our cores consist of precision cast components which are capable of withstanding the high temperatures associated with wood fires, which can approach 2200 degrees Farenheit in the firebox.

Our flue gas channels are designed with the assistance of mathematical and computer modeling, ensuring the heater will function properly in the field and with high efficiency. We also design all of the wear components in the heater to be replaceable through the loading door, allowing you or your mason to refurbish the heater core after 20-25 years of use with minimal expense.

The precision cast components in our core kits come cast numbered and with tongue and grooves cast right into the pieces, for ease of assembly. Also included in our kits is all the hardware you need to put the complete core together, including mortar, cast iron clean out doors, and loading doors. Once the pallets arrive carrying your heater core, all you will need is a level, a trowel, and a friend and the heater can be assembled completely in a day. Add in one of our Veneer Kits and you can build yourself a complete masonry heater in two days!

Phoenix Series Empire Masonry Heaters Phoenix Kit is designed for heating a large room homes 925-1500 square feet and comes with an option for a white oven. The Phoenix is the lowest cost masonry heater core kit on the market, with retail prices starting at $3900. It is also the fastest to put together, easily being built within 2 hours.	Contraflow The Finnish Contraflow masonry heater is the Model T of masonry heaters in North America. Our version is built completely with modular tongue & groove pieces, requiring no firebrick. Our Contraflow heater design will heat homes from 1200 to 2300 square feet and comes complete with all of the hardware you need to construct your own Finnish stove in less than 6 hours!
Envirotech Classic Series The Envirotech Classic Series Kit is designed for heating homes 1500-3300 square feet and comes with options for a bake oven and a see through firebox. The Envirotech Classic core is approved for installation in Washington State and Colorado, and qualifies for a tax credit in Oregon.	Envirotech Compact Series The Envirotech Compact Series Kit is designed for heating homes 1300-2800 square feet and comes with options for bake ovens and a see through firebox.
Envirotech Econ Series The Envirotech Econ Series Kit is designed for heating homes 1000 to 2000 square feet and comes with all the hardware required to build it.	E5 45 Series The E5 45 Series Kit is our next generation modular heater kit, designed for heating homes 1300-2600 square feet. It comes with options for a black or white oven and a heated bench.
E5 55 Series The E5 55 Series kit is a larger model E5 45 series kit, designed for homes 1300-2900 square feet. It comes with options for a black or white oven, and a wrap-around heated bench.	Masonry Cooktop Warm up a meal and your kitchen with our wood fired cooktop. Featuring cast iron hardware and using the same refractory as our masonry heaters, our cooktop kits are perfect for providing your home, cabin or camp with a way to cook food as well supplemental heat.
