Envirotech Classic Masonry Heater Core Kit
|
The Envirotech Classic Masonry Heater Core Kit provides the core materials for a 2'8" deep x 6'8" wide
finished masonry heater
(2'8" x 5'8" without side masonry chimney) capable of heating well insulated home spaces of 2000 to
3000 sq. ft. The cast modular core blocks are numbered and lock together for easy and rapid assembly.
The Envirotech Classic Masonry Heater Core Kit is our oldest model, with 25 years of history behind it.
It is approved by the state of Washington as a Washington Certified Wood Stove, it's approved in Colorado under
Colorado Air Pollution Control Regulation 4, Section IV, and it also qualifies for a $300 tax credit in
the state of Oregon. In these documents the Envirotech Classic is often classified as "Envirotech Radiant"
or "Envirotech Radiant Fireplace".
This heater was not only approved for these clean air programs, it sets the bar for masonry heaters and
fireplaces alike. In tests at a EPA certified lab in 2007, the Envirotech released 0.82 grams of particulates
per 1000 grams of wood burned. Colorado sets the bar for this measure of pollution control at no higher than
6.0 grams per kilogram, and Washington State sets it at 7.3 grams per kilogram. The following chart illustrates
this:
The kit includes cast core block modules, arched cast iron and
ceramic-glass loading door, five cast iron cleanout doors, steel damper with stainless steel sleeves,
refractory clay mortar mix, insulation board, chimney connector piece, cardboard heat spacer material and
construction and owners manuals.
Options available for the Envirotech Classic Masonry Heater include a see through firebox and a
white bake oven.
The kit ships on two pallets and weighs approximately 4400 lbs.
